JUST A THOUGHT....

When Bush lowered the tax rates early in his first term, I seem to recall the democratic mantra that these were tax cuts for the wealthy.  I think Kerry said that some 3,000,000 times in 2004.

So why are the very same democrats now saying if the Bush tax cuts expire, tax cuts they never supported, it is going to raise taxes on the poor and middle class?

And why does no one in the media point this out?

Well, I've noticed no one has bought or borrowed my book of last year's posts or either of my academic papers in the last three months, so I've removed them from Amazon.

I wish every American were forced to pass a statistics class before graduating high school and college, it would eliminate much of the BS we are fed on a daily basis.

Big news this week, 500 murdered in Chicago this year.  Now I don't mean to minimize all the innocent people killed, but if you would look back to the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's and compare, 500 would have been a great number in those years.  In the 1970's, there were several years 3X of this years numbers were achieved per year.  Yep, once upon a time, not so long ago, Chicago regularly saw over 1,000 murders a year.

So what is the big news story here?  That the city that doesn't allow law abiding citizens to own guns has so many murders each year?  But it's really not that big a number compared to 20 or 30 years ago.

But the chorus in the media and politics is the ban of assault weapons, except, news flash, assault weapons are already banned.  See, an assault gun has two settings; one for when you hold down the trigger and it just keeps firing and the other for one bullet for one trigger pull.  It is already illegal to have a fully automatic gun.  A semi automatic is when you need to pull the trigger for each bullet.  But the media won't explain this, they just keep showing pictures of scary looking military type guns and don't explain you have to pull the trigger each time you want to fire one bullet.

And the debate about how many bullets a gun should be able to hold at one time is the latest debate.  Why would anyone need a 30 round magazine?  It's a good question.  Banning them won't stop anything, though.  If a person is a nut and can't buy a gun with a 30 or 20 round magazine, but only 10 round magazines, what do you think the nut will do?  He will buy 3 or 4 guns with 10 rounds and just drop and pull out another gun.

In other words, limiting rounds in a magazine won't stop a nut from going on a shooting spree.

On the other hand, think about these mini riots where large numbers of people show up and raid a store. Wilding in Clockwork Orange.   They all run in, 30 or 40 of them, and clean out the store.  What happens when these groups decided to move from stores to homes?  Imagine 50 people busting down your door and you are standing there with your family and they will rush in and take whatever they want, do whatever they want.

Now, imagine them kicking in the door and you are standing there with a 30 round magazine in your gun.  Guess who gets to keep their stuff and their family safe that night.  Now, what are the odds of that happening?  I think it will be going up in the near future.

That is why I've never wasted money on a gun that holds more than 10 rounds, one day they will be illegal.

But the point of all of this is statistics.  Everyone hates to hear of these shootings.  Many are mocking the idea of armed personnel, yet, think about this: these mass shootings never occur in the inner city because inner city schools ALREADY HAVE ARMED COPS ON DUTY AT ALL TIMES.

Facts are a bitch.  But never underestimate the politicians and media to ignore facts and keep an uninformed public in the dark.  By the way, did you know Ghandi wrote in his autobiography that the darkest day in India was the day the British banned Indians from owning firearms?

Well, we won't make church today, dad fought tooth and nail today over his shower and sure enough this is his crapping day. It's like one long crap that slowly exists over a 10 hour period.  I figure he has about 4 hours left.  I finally realized that all of this will end when pigs can fly.  I sure hope he doesn't pass away until after the first, we have 20 bucks in the bank until the first of the year.

Oh yea, his whopping cost of living increase will be 45 bucks a month.  I'm sure that more than covers the increase in food, energy, etc.  That is on top of the 52 bucks last year and the 0 dollars the two previous years.  Ninety seven bucks in four years for the elderly.  And in those negotiations in DC, rumor has it they are going to change the cost of living calculations for SS so as to further lower the increases.  I would hate to have been a member of congress on judgment day, God is not going to look kindly on them making themselves rich while screwing the poor, elderly, and disabled.

END OF THE WORLD PREDICTIONS FOR 2013!!!!!

Yes, it's that time again, time for Barkley's End of the World Predictions for the coming year.  This is my 12th annual, or is that anal, prediction column and I claim 99.9% inaccuracy with every prediction column I've ever written.

1.  President Obama will be sworn into office and, during his inaugural speech, laugh  and brag how he stole the election to prove once and for all his black half is smarter than his white half.  Biden will then jump off the podium to his death, confusing what the president said as a slam on him compared to Michelle.  The press, upon finding out Obama stole the election, will immediately blame gun owners.

2.  Speaking of gun owners, the president will announce the banning of gun ownership by anyone in america and gang members and drug cartel members from across America will immediately turn in their handguns at their local community center.

3.  No longer worried about public opinion, Obama will play golf 74 times in 2013, basketball 148 times, and attend zero national security council meetings.

4.  Now that the Mayan End of the World Calendar circus is over, the decedents of other ancient no longer existing civilizations will come out with their own end of the world calendars to drum up tourism in 2013.  Early data suggests the most popular end of the world calendar by a civilization that no longer exists will be The Republican Party.

5.  Talk shows and web sites will continue to predict the end of the world, end of the United States, end of life, and offer discounts on food that will last 50 years past the end of existence as we know it.  And if you order today, you will receive a free can of some multilevel marketing vitamin supplement and a subscription to Newsweek too!

6.  Al Gore will stick his head out of his Malibu mansion on Feb 2nd and claim Planet X is coming and it's the end of the world.  His houseboy will point out that was not Planet X, but Al Gore's own shadow he saw, and Al Gore will go back to the kitchen for six more weeks and another 5439 pancakes before announcing the thunderstorm in Alabama is the result of global warming.  In a side prediction: four honest scientists will step forward, surrounded by guards armed with sticks and stones, and admit their research into global warming has discovered the main source of greenhouse gas is, in fact, Al Gore.

7.  George Herbert Walker Bush will pass away in 2013, still unable to remember where he was when Kennedy was shot.  Several Kennedy's will be unable to remember George Herbert Walker Bush, unleashing conspiracy theories as to the existence of George Herbert Walker Bush.

8.  The Cubs will win enough games not be eliminated from the pennant race until Spring Training begins.

9.  Across the world, millions of obsessive compulsive anal retentive people will commit suicide after reading a list of 10 predictions that only contain 9 predictions.  Internet talk show hosts will smell a conspiracy and web sites will spring up all over the internet asking what happened to the tenth prediction, claiming the seer was put to silence by the Illuminati, Obama, Masons, or aliens.

I DON'T THINK I WILL VOTE ANYMORE

Okay, first of all, this is not sour grapes.  And I've waited to do lots of research before writing this blog.  Finally, growing up in Chicago area and then living there again from 1994 to 2010, I am well acquainted with voter fraud in Chicago and Cook County.

But this election really bugged me.  Something smells.  What really set me off was what happened in Philly, where in X districts, the vote was 19,600 for Obama and 0 for Romney.  That is statistically impossible. This does not even include the districts where republican inspectors were kicked out and Obama got 99% of the vote.   I've looked at the most conservative districts or areas and even in those Romney didn't get ALL the votes, Obama would get a few and so would 3rd party candidates.  But 100%?  Not a single mistake vote?  Not statistically possible.  Same thing happened in areas around Cleveland. In 21 districts, 100% of the vote to Obama.

In Chicago, they've been stealing elections so long they are smart enough to give the opposition a few votes so it's not so damn obvious what happened.  The rest of the country isn't quite so well versed in cheating.

So let me lay this out for you, my imaginary readers.  There were too many people shaking their heads election night, including the famous Rove incident on Fox News.  I don't care about what Morris said, he is always wrong.  But Rove is a smart cookie and he saw a problem in Ohio and caused quite a stir that night.  Then was let go, then brought back after the conservative backlash or something.  The point is, something smelled on Election Night and the numbers tell the story.

So first, we have the statistically impossible results in Philly and Cleveland.  Secondly, make note of this and keep it in mind as we go forward: Obama did not win a single state that required Voter Picture ID.

In Broward County Florida, in six precincts, Obama got 99% of the vote.  Precincts 24 to 29.  In the other precincts?  Romney did 14% to 30% better.  So the 5,392 to 54 vote in those 6 precincts looks very flakey.

In Florida, Ohio, and Colorado, there were vote totals that exceeded registered voters, from 108% to 141%.  Think about that: more votes than registered voters.  The excuse?  Well, they claim they have a lot of seasonal workers.  So what?  They don't really live there but are voting anyways?  Where else are they voting?  If I live six months a year in MI and six months in FL, do I get to vote in both states?  Not legally.

Hundreds of thousands of military ballots were invalidated because they were one day late.  They sat in a warehouse for over a month, mislabeled.  So our men and women defending our country, putting their lives and limbs at risk, were prevented from voting in the election.  Too bad they were not illegal aliens, huh.

In 2008, many conservatives sat out the election, they did not like McCain.  There is no question that enthusiasm for Romney was much greater than for McCain.  It showed up in fundraising, appearances, etc.  And it was obvious that enthusiasm for Obama was not as big as it was in 2008.  Secondly, every damn poll showed independents which overwhelmingly voted for Obama in 2008 were leaning to Romney.  No one is surprised that Obama got 10M fewer votes in 2012 than in 2008.  What no one can explain is how Romney got 3M fewer votes than McCain. In known GOP areas, voting was very heavy. Nothing in the polling, fundraising, etc can explain those numbers.  The increase in republican voting and independent voting would have resulted in an increase over McCain.  So what happened to all those votes?

There were numerous reports of people voting for Romney and the vote being registered for Obama.  In fact, there were over 70,000 complaints by 5pm Eastern, though some of those complaints were people claiming they voted for Obama and it registered Romney, etc.  But I don't know how much you can weigh these, except one:

Steve Pickrum said he worked for Chicago’s election system during the early voting and Election Day voting for the 2012 race.
As an equipment manager for the system, Pickrum said, he responded whenever there was a glitch with a voting machine.
“On early voting, when I did work on the floor when voters needed help using the equipment, I was able to see the preference of the voter, and every time that I saw [a] voter voted for Romney a ‘voter save failure’ message came up on the screen,’” he reported.

Then when he went on Election Day to cast his own vote, he picked Romney and experienced the same error message.
Pickrum said he worked at both the Matteson voting area as well as in Precinct 70, and although he discussed the anomalies with his boss, had not yet filed a formal report.
He said when he voted, he was told by a precinct worker to just go ahead and assume that his vote had been tabulated, despite the error message. But since he knew the operations of the machines, he asked the poll workers to check the vote report, and they found his vote had not been counted.

So one of the computer geeks witnessed multiple times votes for Romney being either switched to Obama or not counted.  And here is a twist for you: the company that runs the voter machines in 26 states is owned by a company in Spain - that is right, Spain was responsible for counting our votes in the US.

I've blogged before my concerns about technology in many areas, but this voting thing is totally out of hand.  We see rampant voter fraud occurring across the country.  We have illegal aliens voting.  We have college students registering to vote in their home town and in the college town and voting twice.  We have our military votes intentionally invalidated.  And anyone with any knowledge of statistics can see from the data that the numbers don't add up.

The problem is no one is going to follow up and investigate any of this data.  There were questions about the 2004 election, no follow up.  I'm sorry folks, this election was rigged.  There is a discrepancy in the voting numbers.  The military was prevented from voting and illegal aliens were allowed to vote.  We no longer live in a democracy, we no longer live in a republic.  Voting has become an illusionary activity to codify the masses.  The last 20 years, I've fought by always voting against incumbents but now I recognize this has become an exercise in futility.  So I will seek to be removed from the voter rolls and let God sort out the mess.

Until we come up with a system that verifies each voter is a resident and is who they claim to be, our country will continue to be stolen from us; when you steal a vote, when people vote who should not vote, you steal my vote from me and I will not let that happen again.  You can take my life, you can take my liberty, but you cannot take my freedom not to participate in a corrupt system.
